Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad and Drive to Gir — On arrival at Ahmedabad airport, our representative will greet you and drive to Gir (approximately 7 hours). En route, stop for lunch at a highway restaurant. Arrive in Gir by evening and check into your jungle resort. Enjoy a relaxed dinner with a wildlife documentary screening. Overnight in Gir. Day 2: Gir Morning and Evening Safaris — Early morning, enjoy your first jeep safari in Gir National Park with an expert naturalist. The park opens at 6 AM and the morning safari is the best time to spot lions. Return to the resort for breakfast. After lunch and rest, head out for the evening safari to a different zone of the park. Look for leopards, hyenas, jackals, and Indian porcupines. Return to the resort for dinner. Overnight in Gir. Day 3: Devalia Safari Park and Somnath — After breakfast, visit the Devalia Safari Park — an interpretation zone where you are almost guaranteed to see lions, leopards, and other wildlife in a fenced area. Later, drive to Somnath (approximately 1.5 hours). Visit the famous Somnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, situated on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Attend the evening aarti. Overnight in Somnath. Day 4: Somnath to Diu — After breakfast, drive to Diu (approximately 2 hours) — a former Portuguese colony with a unique blend of Indian and European culture. Visit the Diu Fort, St. Paul's Church, and the Naida Caves. Spend the afternoon relaxing on Nagoa Beach. In the evening, walk along the Diu waterfront. Overnight in Diu. Day 5: Departure — After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad or Diu airport for your onward journey with wild memories of Gir and coastal charm of Diu.
