Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad — On arrival at Ahmedabad airport, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit to the Calico Museum of Textiles — one of the finest textile museums in the world. Evening walk through the old city of Ahmedabad — a UNESCO World Heritage City — with its pols (traditional housing clusters), havelis, and ornate wooden facades. Overnight in Ahmedabad. Day 2: Adalaj Stepwell and Patan — After breakfast, visit the Adalaj Stepwell — an intricately carved 15th-century stepwell. Next, drive to Patan to see the Rani Ki Vav — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most ornate stepwells in India. Also visit the Patan Patola weaving centre — home to the famous double ikat silk sarees. Overnight in Ahmedabad. Day 3: Ahmedabad to Bhuj — After breakfast, fly to Bhuj. On arrival, check into your hotel. Visit the Aina Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) and Prag Mahal — two beautiful palaces built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Later, visit the Kutch Museum. Evening walk through the Bhuj bazaars. Overnight in Bhuj. Day 4: Bhujodi and Nirona Villages — After breakfast, visit Bhujodi — a village of weavers known for their exquisite woollen shawls and carpets. Meet the artisans and see them working on traditional handlooms. Next, visit Nirona — home to the Rogan art family (who paint intricate designs on cloth using castor oil paint) and the copper bell-making family. Overnight in Bhuj. Day 5: Ajrakhpur and Banni Grasslands — After breakfast, visit Ajrakhpur — a village of block printers who use natural dyes and traditional Ajrakh printing techniques. Later, take a jeep safari through the Banni grasslands to see the unique wildlife and pastoralist communities of Kutch. In the evening, return to Bhuj. Overnight in Bhuj. Day 6: Departure — After breakfast, fly back to Ahmedabad or Mumbai for your onward journey with beautiful handicrafts and unforgettable memories.
