About This Tour

Kinnaur is one of Himachal Pradesh's most beautiful and least-explored districts — a land of dramatic gorges, apple orchards, ancient temples, and warm tribal people. This 7-day Kinnaur Tribal Tour takes you through Shimla, Sarahan, Sangla, Kalpa, and Chitkul — the last village before Tibet. You will visit the famous Bhimakali Temple at Sarahan, walk through the Sangla Valley, admire the Kinnaur Kailash range from Kalpa, and experience the unique culture of the Kinnauri people. The region is home to the Kinnara tribe, mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures, and their culture, language, and traditions are distinct from the rest of Himachal. This is the perfect tour for off-beat travellers, photographers, and those seeking authentic Himalayan experiences. The roads are rough, the accommodations are basic, but the rewards — pristine landscapes, ancient temples, and warm hospitality — are extraordinary.
