The Spark That Started It All
In 2015, our founder Arjun Mehta was on a solo backpacking trip through Himachal Pradesh. Somewhere between the winding mountain roads of Spiti and the crisp air of Chandratal Lake, he had an epiphany. Travellers — especially first-timers — were constantly being sold templated packages that missed the soul of a destination. They were paying for "7 days / 6 nights" but walking away without truly experiencing anything.
He returned to Delhi with a mission: to build a travel company that puts the traveller — not the itinerary — at the centre of everything. And so, ThrillauraTrips was born.
